A Long March 6 carrier rocket was launched from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in North China’s Shanxi Province on March 27, sending a Yunhai-3 02 satellite into preset orbit.

Generally developed by Shanghai Academy of Spaceflight Technology, a subsidiary of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, the satellite will be mainly used in surveying atmospheric, marine, and space environments, and tasks related to disaster prevention and scientific experiments.
