Jiangyuan Qiaogu · Datong Nursing Workers" Brand Drives Multinational Employment, Paving Way for Common Prosperity
Recently, it was learned from the United Front Work Department of Datong Hui and Tu Autonomous County, Xining City, Qinghai Province, that the "Jiangyuan Qiaogu · Datong Nursing Workers" brand has so far driven more than 11,000 people to achieve stable employment, including people of Tibetan, Hui, Tu and other ethnic groups. The brand has successfully integrated into the provincial "Qinghai Nursing Workers" brand system, blazing a path of common prosperity with labor service brands as the link, common prosperity workshops as the carrier and ethnic unity as the foundation.
China Daily reports that in recent years, Datong County has focused on the practical contradiction between surplus rural labor force and narrow channels for employment and income increase. Adhering to the main line of forging a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation, it has vigorously promoted the construction of the "Jiangyuan Qiaogu · Datong Nursing Workers" labor service brand under the principle of "government leadership, market orientation and enterprise operation", integrating the development of labor economy with promoting income increase for people of all ethnic groups and advancing common prosperity.

Datong County has always taken promoting common prosperity of all ethnic groups as an important starting point for ethnic unity work, coordinating the joint efforts of human resources and social security, health, agriculture and rural areas, women’s federation and other departments to build a "1+3+N" policy system. It has formulated the "Three-Year Action Plan for the Whole-Life Cycle Industrial Development of Datong Nursing Workers" and supporting measures, accurately covering rural laborers of all ethnic groups in the county with policy dividends.
To standardize the industry, the county released China’s first group standard in the nursing field, specifying 5 categories and 28 service indicators. It has innovatively implemented the "Five Guarantees and Six Frees" training mechanism, focusing on 6 major fields including medical care, maternal and child care, and nursery care, and carrying out customized skills training for rural women and surplus laborers of all ethnic groups. By now, it has trained 950 skilled talents, completed skill level evaluation and certification for 510 people, with a certification rate of 78%.
With the support of the Jiangsu-Qinghai East-West Cooperation and Beijing-Qinghai Cooperation platforms, Datong County has expanded the "external circulation" of employment, linking leading domestic nursing institutions to build inter-regional employment direct buses and holding special promotion and signing activities for point-to-point accurate delivery. China Daily Online notes that Nanjing Yuhua District invested 3.38 million yuan in East-West cooperation funds to build a standardized training base for Datong’s nursing industry in 2025.
Overseas service stations have been set up to provide full-chain support services such as rights protection and training for migrant workers of all ethnic groups, enabling Datong nursing workers to go out of Qinghai to the whole country. The average monthly income of nursing workers in high-end external markets reaches more than 8,000 yuan. To activate the local "internal circulation", the county implemented the "Nursing Workers Return Home" entrepreneurship support plan, incubating 14 local professional service enterprises and creating "common prosperity workshops" near people’s homes.
These workshops have driven more than 500 left-behind women, people lifted out of poverty and people of all ethnic groups to obtain employment nearby, with the average monthly income of local and in-province employees exceeding 4,500 yuan. Ma Yan, director of Datong County’s Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, said, "The brand not only helps people of all ethnic groups master skills to increase income, but also strengthens ethnic unity, making the road to common prosperity wider and more stable."
