Vibrant Spring Blooms Transform Ancient Town in Sichuan

As warm spring weather arrives across China, the Moonlit Field Scenic Area in Lizhuang Town, Yibin, Sichuan Province, has been transformed by a sweeping display of colourful rapeseed flowers. 

Delicate pink, elegant purple, pure white and bright yellow blooms stretch across the landscape in layered waves, forming a richly patterned floral carpet across the countryside.

Traditional buildings with grey tiles and upturned eaves stand beside the water, their reflections mirrored in the streams alongside the rolling flower fields.
