Blooming Splendour: Yao'an's Oriental Rose Valley Beckons in Mid-Spring

In mid-to-late April, the Oriental Rose Valley in Yao'an County, Chuxiong Yi Autonomous Prefecture, southwest China's Yunnan Province, enters its most magnificent season. Over 2,000 mu of edible roses and more than 100 varieties of ornamental roses are in full bloom, drawing crowds of visitors to admire the stunning floral display.

Nestled in Guanglu Town, Yao'an County, the Oriental Rose Valley stands as a key agritourism landmark in the region. Boasting blooms of large size, thick petals and rich fragrance, the roses create a breathtaking sea of flowers that stretches as far as the eye can see, with a sweet floral scent lingering in the air. 

Visitors wander through the neatly arranged rose beds, immersing themselves in the vibrant hues of red, pink and cream, while the gentle breeze carries the delicate aroma of roses across the valley.
