China Tourism Group Achieves "Good Start" in Q1: "Cultural Tourism +" Drives High-Quality Development

In the first quarter of this year, China Tourism Group (CTG) adhered to the principle of seeking progress while maintaining stability and improving quality and efficiency, actively practicing the concept of "integrity-based operation and high-quality service", and driving the integrated development of "Cultural Tourism +" through innovation and creativity. All its affiliated businesses achieved a "good start", laying a solid foundation for a successful start of the "14th Five-Year Plan" period.

CTG Travel reported a year-on-year sales growth of over 40% and a 10% increase in the number of services provided in the first quarter. In the silver economy sector, it signed a cooperation agreement with Industrial and Commercial Bank of China to launch the "ICBC Travel Enjoy Home" Time Experience Officer exclusive plan, jointly building a pension service ecosystem. In terms of entry-exit services, it became the designated ticketing agent for China-DPRK international trains, successfully completed onshore tour services for 5,500 international cruise tourists, and worked with Beijing Capital Airport to build a cultural tourism service zone, achieving new results in promoting cultural exchanges.

CTG International’s scenic spots received nearly 6.6 million tourists in the first quarter, a year-on-year increase of 26%. In terms of characteristic marketing, it co-organized the "Hundred Cities Treasure Hunt" activity with Baidu, launching three stations at Songhua Lake Resort, Dali Erhai Ecological Corridor and Splendid China Scenic Area to attract in-depth participation of tourists. Songhua Lake Resort received over 1 million tourists in the 2025-2026 snow season, with online exposure exceeding 10 billion and more than 30 characteristic activities held.

CTG Investment maintained steady progress in the first quarter. Its operational businesses saw a year-on-year increase of 116% in total revenue and 151% in the number of tourists, with remarkable results in systematic integration. CTG Wave Chasing Resort hosted a large-scale official surfing competition, achieving nearly 10 million yuan in revenue and receiving 27,000 tourists. Its real estate development business achieved a year-on-year increase of 17.95% in total contracted amount, ranking 33rd in the first quarter Kriging Equity Sales List.

CTG Duty Free focused on four tracks: duty-free, airport and urban comprehensive tourism retail, online high-quality retail and internationalization. During the first Spring Festival holiday after the closure of Hainan Free Trade Port, its stores in Hainan were booming, with Sanya International Duty Free City achieving a maximum daily sales volume of over 200 million yuan and a peak daily passenger flow of 92,000 person-times.

Xinhua News Agency reported that CTG Capital’s affiliated enterprises made remarkable achievements in the first quarter. The "Auspicious Horse" cultural and creative product of Traveler, as the mascot of the 2026 "Happy Spring Festival" organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, appeared at the UN Spring Festival celebration and was sent to 190 overseas embassies and cultural centers around the world. China Daily noted that CTG’s cruise brand China Cruises operated 76 voyages, opening new routes to South Korea, Vietnam, Malaysia and Brunei.

With a "good start" in the first quarter, all businesses of CTG have flourished, with strong momentum from "Cultural Tourism +".
