Cultural Fair Unveiled in Yinchuan to Boost Spring Tourism and Wine Consumption

A two-day cultural and consumption event themed “Cultural Elegance & Tipsy Yinchuan” kicked off in Jinfeng District of Yinchuan, Ningxia, on 21 March 2026, blending local wine culture with immersive tourism experiences to stimulate spring spending.

Set within urban commercial zones, the fair brings together the wine heritage of the Eastern Foot of Helan Mountain, iconic local scenic spot IPs and intangible cultural heritage programmes under one roof. By adopting immersive and interactive formats, the event creates a vibrant spring cultural tourism gala that caters to public leisure and consumption demands.

Against the backdrop of steady recovery in domestic cultural tourism, Yinchuan has integrated premium wine resources with urban commercial spaces to develop new consumption scenarios. The event runs for two full days, allowing visitors to engage with wine displays, traditional craft demonstrations and interactive experiences linked to well-known local attractions.

This initiative serves as a targeted measure to unlock the potential of spring cultural tourism consumption. By merging industrial characteristics with daily consumption scenarios, the activity enhances the appeal of local cultural tourism brands while driving footfall in commercial areas. It also supports the integrated development of the wine industry and tourism, forming a sustainable model that promotes regional economic vitality through cultural and tourism integration.
