China Electric Equipment Launches "Dianqing" Large Model to Boost Digital-Intelligent Transformation

On May 16, China Electric Equipment held a press conference on the "Dianqing" large model and "AI + Manufacturing" innovation achievements, promoting in-depth integration of artificial intelligence with the real economy of electrical equipment and injecting strong digital-intelligent momentum into the construction of a manufacturing power, a science and technology power, and an energy power.

At the conference, China Electric Equipment released the "Dianqing" large model and a white paper on "Artificial Intelligence +", showcasing a series of innovative achievements of the large model intelligent system. The name "Dianqing" implies a power engine for electric power development, embodying the expectation of upholding the responsibility of safe and stable electric power supply.

As an industry-specific large model in the power transmission and distribution equipment field, the "Dianqing" large model covers various types of models including semantic understanding, computer vision, multi-modal fusion and scientific computing, with parameter scales ranging from 450 million to 67.1 billion. It possesses five core capabilities: simulated scientific computing, multi-modal monitoring and diagnosis, knowledge understanding and generation, scheduling decision optimization, and embodied operation and execution.

Relying on the "Dianqing" large model, China Electric Equipment has built a full-domain intelligent agent system covering "intelligent R&D, intelligent manufacturing, intelligent inspection, intelligent maintenance and intelligent operation". It has developed 12 "AI + Manufacturing" innovative applications, promoting cross-product technology reuse and large-scale implementation, and accelerating the cultivation of new quality productive forces in the industry.

Moving forward, the "Dianqing" large model will focus on the construction of a new energy system, building an intelligent capability system covering the entire life cycle of power transmission and distribution equipment, and realizing full-chain intelligent drive of products. This will further promote the digital and intelligent transformation of the electrical equipment industry, and provide strong support for the high-quality development of China’s energy and manufacturing sectors.
