Deployment Pace of Zhiyuan Robots Accelerates in Real Commercial Scenarios
According to Securities Daily, Zhiyuan Innovation (Shanghai) Technology Co., Ltd., held its Innovation Day event on 29 October 2026. The event drew a large turnout including domestic researchers, developers, industrial partners and overseas participants, with higher attendance than the firm’s partner conference held in April this year.
Zhiyuan has become a key benchmark for observing the commercial roll-out of embodied intelligence. The firm disclosed at the event that its robot shipments exceeded 5,000 units in 2025, and its revenue for the first half of 2026 reached nearly 2 billion yuan. Counterpoint Research published data showing global humanoid robot shipments topped 22,000 units in the first six months of 2026. Zhiyuan secured the top global position with shipments of roughly 9,700 units, capturing a market share above 43 per cent.
The company has stepped up real-world deployments following its April statement that 2026 would mark the shift from the development phase to the deployment phase for the embodied intelligence industry.

In industrial settings, Zhiyuan robots have been deployed on production lines at Shanghai Longcheer Technology Co., Ltd., handling loading and unloading tasks for tablet computers. During a six-day live production trial this year, the robots completed 64,824 operational cycles with a success rate of 99.99 per cent and an average cycle time of 22 seconds per unit.
In service sectors, the robots have entered hotels, metro stations and cultural tourism venues. Over 300 units were installed across more than 100 sites at Chimelong Hengqin Resort, delivering guided tours, interactive games and competitive movement activities.
The robots can adjust their movements autonomously in response to environmental changes after training with motion intelligence models. They can even learn new movement patterns using undamaged joints when some mechanical joints break down.
The commercialisation of embodied intelligence remains at an early stage across the whole sector. Counterpoint Research figures show entertainment performances, data generation and scientific research still accounted for more than 60 per cent of global humanoid robot shipments in the first half of 2026. Intelligent manufacturing made up only 13 per cent and warehousing logistics 5 per cent of total deployments.
Zhiyuan is boosting software capacity including foundation models, datasets and operating systems to enhance robotic intelligence and cut the cost of developing and rolling out new robotic functions.
The firm unveiled a series of technical achievements at the Innovation Day, including the next-generation embodied foundation model GO-3 Preview and the full-modal interaction model WITA-OMNI, which power the cognitive capabilities of its robots.
The upgraded models deliver significant improvements in multilingual communication. The WITA-OMNI model enables robots to respond rapidly in multiple languages and provide real-time simultaneous interpretation. The model unifies visual, auditory, linguistic, facial and physical motion modelling to strengthen natural interaction in complex environments. The GO-3 Preview model integrates environmental perception, future prediction and motion generation into a single modelling framework. It uses joint training with physical robots, digital simulations and world models to improve cross-task generalisation and precision manipulation.
Robotic field deployment involves hardware bodies, data, models and on-site system integration. Foundation models need pre-training to build general capabilities, targeted post-training for specific tasks, and continuous iterative learning after deployment.
