Shandong Heavy Industry Ramps up Global Expansion, Export Revenue Rises 33.4pc in First Half
According to media reports, Shandong Heavy Industry has long focused on the full industrial chain of high-end equipment manufacturing and pressed ahead with its globalisation strategy. The group drives overseas growth through dual channels of product exports and industrial investment and makes steady progress in its cross-border internationalisation.
Diverse business segments operate in tandem across engines, heavy-duty trucks, passenger coaches, construction machinery and agricultural equipment. Its export revenue hit 62.4 billion yuan in the first half of the year, marking a year-on-year rise of 33.4 per cent. Sales volumes of heavy-duty trucks, heavy engines and heavy transmissions hold the top position worldwide.
Business divisions have secured breakthroughs across the Middle East, Africa, Asia-Pacific, Europe and the Americas, with products shipped to more than 170 countries and territories. Its overseas model has moved beyond simple product sales towards integrated exports of technology, standards, services and branding.

The group pursues a combined approach of industrial mergers and local factory construction. It has completed strategic restructuring of more than ten leading European and American enterprises covering clean power, hydraulics, fuel cells, marine equipment and intelligent logistics.
Regional operational hubs, KD assembly plants, spare parts warehouses and local service teams have been set up in Vietnam, Indonesia, Uzbekistan, Saudi Arabia and other markets. Global partner conferences have been held successively in Astana of Kazakhstan, Dubai of the United Arab Emirates, Jakarta of Indonesia, Mexico, Qingdao of China and Hanoi of Vietnam to expand its global partnership network.
Shandong Heavy Industry will keep advancing four strategic transitions: green development, global layout, digital intelligence and ecological building. It shifts focus from exporting standalone products to rooting industries in overseas markets, building a full-factor transnational operational system integrating research, production, supply, distribution, after-sales service, finance and branding.
The group accelerates its development into a world-class multinational high-end equipment enterprise with leading technologies and low-carbon operations, delivering industrial strength from Shandong for the green and intelligent transformation of global equipment sectors.
