Industry practitioners divide them into two distinct groups. Bulk commodities such as copper and aluminium underpin power delivery and thermal management within data‑centre physical frameworks. Widespread roll‑out of AI computing‑power infrastructure throughout 2026 has buoyed market sentiment for these metal varieties. According to statistics published by the China Non‑ferrous Metals Industry Association, tin, tantalum and indium have recorded price surges exceeding 40 per cent, 158 per cent and 60 per cent respectively across the first six months. Copper and aluminium prices have climbed by 31.4 per cent and 18.8 per cent, maintaining elevated market levels. Yunnan Germanium secures first‑half operating revenue of RMB 732 million, 38.21 per cent higher than one year earlier. Attributable net profit reaches RMB 74.27 million, marking a 235.31 per cent year‑on‑cent increase, whilst non‑recurring‑item‑adjusted attributable net profit rises by 770.09 per cent to RMB 66.90 million. Its controlled subsidiary Jinbao Electronic undertakes design, research, manufacturing and sales for electronic copper foil and copper‑clad laminates.
