Conch Group’s Foreign‑Trade Business Delivers Strong Growth in First Half‑Year

According to local state‑owned enterprise disclosures, Conch Group has achieved upgraded and high‑efficiency foreign‑trade performance across the first six months, leveraging channels and resource strengths from its subsidiary Anhui Guomao Group to drive transformation within international trade operations. Total import and export turnover exceeded USD 2 billion, representing nearly 30 per cent year‑on‑year growth.

The group aligns its operations with national priorities for supply‑chain stability. Focused on two core strands — imports of scarce resources and exports of competitive domestic goods — it covers 18 key trading categories and generated approximately CNY 6.5 billion in operating revenue.

Within agricultural and mineral commodity sectors, it maintains close ties with key sesame‑producing regions in Africa, recording USD 198 million worth of sesame imports, a 2 per cent year‑on‑year rise. Channels for strategic mineral resources have been expanded; imports of chromium‑manganese ore reached USD 166 million, up 43 per cent year‑on‑year.

Coal sourcing from Indonesia delivered USD 100 million in imports, marking 254 per cent year‑on‑year expansion. For high‑end equipment trade, full‑chain specialist services support vessel exports totalling USD 230 million.

Fresh drivers for overseas commerce have been established. A dedicated zone for automotive industry exports has been set up. Passenger‑vehicle export volumes surged almost three‑fold compared with the full previous year, whilst exports of commercial vehicles and associated spare parts rose by 14 per cent year‑on‑year.

Higher‑value green product lines have been extended, with exports of photovoltaic modules, energy‑storage battery packs and inverters exceeding USD 7.5 million. Cross‑border e‑commerce adapts to seasonal overseas consumer demand, drawing on in‑house overseas‑warehouse capacity to lift revenue by 15 per cent year‑on‑year.

Conch Group supports coordinated overseas expansion for Anhui‑origin goods. Operating as a provincial industrial‑service platform and cross‑border e‑commerce hub, its comprehensive foreign‑trade service platform deploys self‑developed AI‑powered trading tools, proprietary overseas standalone websites and overseas social‑media marketing frameworks.

Over the first six months, 951 new enterprises joined the platform and 1 555 new product lines were listed, supplying practical momentum for small‑and‑medium‑sized Anhui‑based traders accessing global markets.
