Changan Auto Reports Robust H1 2026 Delivery Growth with Strong Overseas and New-energy Momentum

CHONGQING, 8 July — According to official sales data released by Changan Automobile, the Chinese automotive manufacturer delivered steady operational results across the first half of 2026, recording comprehensive growth in total vehicle shipments, overseas exports and new energy vehicle sales amid intensifying global market competition.

The group achieved a total vehicle delivery volume of 1.1956 million units in the January-to-June period. Overseas market deliveries reached 402,000 units, representing a year-on-year increase of 35.1 per cent and highlighting accelerated global market expansion capabilities. New energy vehicle deliveries stood at 456,000 units over the same period, marking a 5.2 per cent year-on-year rise and maintaining stable growth in the firm’s green and intelligent transformation layout.

Changan’s multi-brand product matrix delivered differentiated market performance across passenger and commercial segments. The premium new energy brand Changan Qiyuan recorded cumulative deliveries of 173,800 units in the first six months. Its AQ product series achieved a remarkable year-on-year sales surge of 102.6 per cent. The all-new Q05 compact SUV secured outstanding market recognition, with global monthly deliveries hitting 21,100 units in June and total H1 shipments exceeding 80,000 units, retaining the top monthly sales position in the compact SUV segment.

Deepal Auto, another core new energy marque under Changan, posted cumulative sales of 164,200 units in the first half of the year, up 14.6 per cent year on year. The brand’s overseas business expanded rapidly, with six-month overseas sales reaching 35,800 units, a year-on-year jump of 141 per cent. In June alone, Deepal achieved global sales of 33,600 units, growing 12.5 per cent annually. The Deepal S05 model performed consistently well in the global market, registering 18,400 unit sales in June and accumulating total deliveries of over 240,000 units since its official launch.

High-end intelligent electric vehicle brand Avatr delivered 7,459 vehicles in June. Continuous offline channel expansion is underway, with brand-new flagship retail stores set to cover more than 20 major domestic cities within the year, further improving end-user service coverage and brand influence.

Traditional product lines maintained solid market fundamentals. Changan Gravity notched up 329,800 cumulative deliveries in the first half of 2026. Changan Kaicheng, focusing on commercial vehicles and pickup trucks, achieved total H1 deliveries of 117,200 units, with pickup truck sales rising 43.9 per cent year on year, reflecting strong market demand for diversified commercial transportation products.

Diversified brand layout and balanced product structure have underpinned Changan Automobile’s stable market performance. The continuous expansion of overseas sales channels and the iterative upgrading of new energy and intelligent vehicle products will further consolidate the group’s competitive advantages in both domestic and global markets, supporting sustained high-quality growth in vehicle deliveries and brand development.
