JINAN, 8 July — Intensifying market competition has reshaped the global heavy-duty truck sector throughout 2026 amid volatile industrial and market conditions. The company has delivered outstanding operational performance in the first five months of 2026, recording a total operating income of 124.9 billion yuan, representing a year-on-year increase of 42.5 per cent. Its total vehicle sales reached 219,000 units, up 17.4 per cent year on year, while heavy-duty truck sales hit 155,000 units with a 24.6 per cent annual rise, securing the top ranking in the domestic heavy-duty truck market.
Building on solid industrial momentum, Sinotruk claimed the global heavy-duty truck sales championship in 2025 with annual sales exceeding 300,000 units, demonstrating robust operational resilience and scalable market competitiveness in the global commercial vehicle landscape.
New energy heavy-duty truck business has emerged as a powerful growth driver for the group. Between January and May 2026, Sinotruk produced and sold 16,000 new energy heavy trucks, marking a year-on-year growth of 114.8 per cent and ranking first in domestic market scale. The enterprise has developed a comprehensive new energy product portfolio covering diversified technical routes and full-scenario operational applications.

Integrated vehicle and energy replenishment ecosystem solutions have been fully rolled out, supported by complete product supporting systems and advanced on-site energy servicing capabilities. The systematic service layout underpins steady volume growth in the new energy heavy truck segment, enabling wider market adoption of low-carbon commercial transportation equipment.
Overseas market business maintains strong expansion momentum backed by long-term global layout optimisation. Sinotruk has retained the top position in China’s heavy-duty truck export volume for 21 consecutive years. From January to May 2026, the group exported 83,000 heavy-duty trucks, achieving a year-on-year growth of 43.5 per cent.
Continuous improvement of global distribution networks and localised overseas manufacturing bases has lifted the company’s overseas market share by 3.7 percentage points, stabilising above 50 per cent in target regions. The strengthened international market foothold further consolidates its leading industrial status and elevates the scale and quality of globalised development.
