Power Service Upgrade Accelerates Key New Energy Project Construction in Ningde

A major new energy industrial project in Fujian is advancing at full speed, bolstering the local lithium battery intelligent manufacturing layout. The first and second phases of Ningde New Energy Technology Wuliyang Lithium Battery Intelligent Production Park, a provincial key project with a total investment of 5.3 billion yuan, are under intensive construction in Ningde. Centering on intelligent lithium battery manufacturing, the park adopts automated and advanced production technologies to upgrade product performance and overall production efficiency.

Supporting infrastructure construction has achieved key progress to guarantee the project’s operation. The 110kV Wuliyang Substation supporting the park completed trial operation and was officially put into service on April 30. Power supply authorities adopted a temporary power supply transition plan, meeting the base’s power demand 80 days ahead of schedule and laying a solid foundation for smooth construction and upcoming production.

Power supply services have achieved full-process forward layout for key local projects. Power departments conducted early docking with government authorities and enterprises before the park’s construction started, accurately grasping land planning and power demand layouts. Targeting the mismatch between substation construction progress and enterprise production schedules, tailored temporary power supply solutions were launched to sustain uninterrupted construction and operational power needs.

During the substation construction period, professional service teams conducted regular on-site inspections to coordinate engineering and power access issues. Pre-tests for secondary intervals of the supporting 220kV Zhangwan Substation were completed in advance, and expert teams finished comprehensive acceptance checks, ensuring the official commissioning of the key power facility.

Local power authorities are optimizing business service mechanisms to empower industrial development. A three-tier service system covering project supervisors, business expansion teams and exclusive customer managers has been established to deliver customised, full-process services for major power users. The service model shifts from passive procedure handling to active enterprise-oriented support.

Optimised power services are benefiting a growing number of new energy projects across Ningde. On March 31, a dedicated 10kV power line supporting the Ningde CATL New Energy Battery Base (Jinchui Phase I) in Badu Town, Jiaocheng District, was officially commissioned, greatly accelerating the project’s construction progress.

This year, local power suppliers have continued to enhance service capabilities for industrial projects. By intervening in project planning, land use and approval links in advance, they implement contractual whole-process services for major power users. Precise demand docking and targeted problem-solving effectively drive key industrial projects to achieve early power supply, early commissioning and early operational benefits, fueling the high-quality development of Ningde’s new energy industrial cluster.
