Hubei launches new industrial centre to boost low-altitude economy growth

The Hubei Low-Altitude Economy Alliance Industrial Development Centre has officially commenced operation in Wuhan. Jointly built by Hubei Provincial Low-Altitude Comprehensive Service Company and Panlong Investment Group, the new facility empowers the in-depth construction of provincial low-altitude economy comprehensive pilot zones and fuels innovative industrial development under national strategic layouts.

Sited in the enterprise headquarters zone of Wuhan Panlong Economic Development Zone, the centre covers a total construction area of 1,412.5 square metres with a total investment of 10 million yuan. It adopts a collaborative operation model between government and enterprises to gather upstream and downstream industrial resources in Huangpi District, Wuhan, forming a clustered development pattern for the local low-altitude economy.

Multiple professional institutions including Hubei Provincial Low-Altitude Comprehensive Service Company have settled in the centre. Relying on integrated scientific research and industrial resources from settled bodies, the platform has established a comprehensive operational system covering scientific research collaboration, industrial coordination and professional service guarantee. It optimises resource allocation and connects fragmented industrial links to support the steady expansion of Hubei’s low-altitude industrial layout.

The centre undertakes multiple core functional tasks to improve the regional industrial ecosystem. It delivers industrial consultation and policy guidance to standardise market development, supports technological innovation and research and development to upgrade industrial core competitiveness, and promotes market cooperation and industrial promotion to expand application scenarios.
