China Datang Successfully Completes 2025–2026 Heating Season Tasks
Recently, China Datang Corporation Limited has successfully completed its heating tasks for the 2025–2026 heating season. Over a 212-day heating service period, China Datang has diligently undertaken the heating responsibility for nearly 960 million square meters in the "Three-North" region, with a total heating supply of 319 million gigajoules, a year-on-year increase of 7.9%, providing strong guarantees for people to spend the winter warmly.
China Datang has always regarded people’s livelihood heating as a major task, making systematic arrangements and comprehensive deployments for heating guarantee in advance. It has proactively carried out unit maintenance and hidden danger elimination to lay a solid foundation for heating supply. Enterprises in various regions have refined measures according to local conditions to fully ensure the safe and stable operation of the heating system.
In the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, local heating enterprises have scientifically optimized unit operation modes, increased patrol frequency during special periods such as nighttime load troughs and extreme cold weather, and strengthened monitoring and adjustment of key heating equipment. In Jilin, enterprises seized the off-heating season maintenance window to conduct comprehensive inspections of core equipment, sort out aging problems and potential hazards, and establish special accounts for precise maintenance.

Other subsidiaries have also carried out solid "winter guarantee and summer preparation" work, completed comprehensive equipment defect elimination before heating, promoted hidden danger treatment, summarized previous experience, and carried out emergency drills to improve emergency response capabilities.
Fuel is the "ration" for heating guarantee. China Datang has continuously consolidated and optimized the guarantee level of medium and long-term fuel contracts by strengthening communication and coordination with relevant departments and enterprises, and increased the proportion of high-quality and effective long-term agreements. In Henan, enterprises have focused on promoting direct supply from large mines, forming a coal supply pattern covering eight regions.
In Shaanxi, enterprises have given full play to the role of long-term coal contracts as a "ballast stone", expanded high-quality coal procurement channels, and used "Beidou positioning + AI intelligent monitoring" to supervise automobile coal transportation. In Zhangjiakou, enterprises have deepened railway coordination to track the entire process of coal shipment, transportation and unloading, maintaining a safe high inventory level of more than 20 days.
As a central enterprise responsible for heating guarantee, China Datang has continuously optimized the heating structure and methods through intelligent and practical technological means, promoting precise and green heating. A waste heat utilization project with 8 of the largest single lithium bromide heat pumps in China has been fully put into operation, increasing heating capacity and reducing fuel consumption, which was selected as an excellent low-carbon technology case in Beijing.
Intelligent heating platforms have been built in many regions, relying on the Internet of Things, big data and cloud technology to realize the transformation from empirical heating to data-driven heating, reducing operation and maintenance costs and improving work efficiency. Clean heating projects in Qinghai have adopted an integrated technology model to ensure rapid response to maintenance requests and stable heating supply.
Moving forward, China Datang will summarize heating experience, further optimize heating arrangements, strengthen equipment maintenance and fuel guarantee, and continue to promote the application of intelligent and green heating technologies. This will better meet people’s demand for warm winter and promote the high-quality development of heating services in the "Three-North" region.
