Nuclear Safety Publicity Activities Held Nationwide on National Security Education Day
April 15 marks the 11th National Security Education Day. To consolidate social attention and consensus on nuclear safety, a series of nuclear safety publicity and education activities for 2026 National Security Education Day have been held in Guangdong, Fujian, Hebei, Hainan, Zhejiang and other regions, according to Xinhua News Agency.
These activities adopt a model of "national linkage, regional characteristics and full public participation", promoting the concept of nuclear safety from an industry topic to people’s daily lives.

At the main venue of the 2026 National Security Education Day nuclear safety activities held in Shenzhen, the immersive drama "The Voice of Guardian" was co-performed by employees of China General Nuclear Power Group (CGN), supervision station staff and villagers living around nuclear power projects.
Villagers enhanced their confidence in nuclear safety through on-site visits. "Learning nuclear safety knowledge in such an interesting and vivid way makes me realize that nuclear energy is not so terrible," said Xu Ruiqi, a student from Longcheng Senior High School in Longgang District, Shenzhen, after visiting the nuclear safety science exhibition at the main venue.
The exhibition integrates pictures, physical displays and interactive experiences, vividly interpreting the basic principles of nuclear energy and the whole-process supervision system of nuclear safety, which has been well received by the public.
